Beautiful High Speed Water Photography
I love high speed Photography. Being able to capture a moment in time that we, as humans, would otherwise be unable to see. The beautiful mixture of technical precision and artistic freedom.
The following are a collection of High Speed Photographs featuring the use of water or liquid. While you may have seen many collections featuring water, bullets, exploding fruit etc, I thought I would pay tribute and showcase some of the most stunning and beautiful liquid based High speed Photographs.

The red wine looks like it is a tongue coming out of the glass
The refreshing orange picture is just that, almost palpably refreshing. Perfect colours for a Windows screen background too. I would love one at a higher resolution for this purpose - any chance? email me.
They were all very beautiful.Amazing!
Thanks to all the readers for their comments on the post.
I think you have all agreed how talented the featured photographers here are and how much of an art form this style of Photography really is.
Regarding 'Bones' comment on image # Seven being fake. The exif data on the photo seems to claim it was taken using a Canon Eos 350D. It is actually pictures of Air Bubbles in the water (upside down).
I just love the apple, but all amazing photography!

Victor.
Not even a mention of Harold Edgerton? For shame.
For those unaware, Edgerton invented this type of photography, as well as some other types. His work is breattaking, moreso when you realize it was done with just flashbulbs and raw film most of the time. See http://images.google.com/images?q=edgerton
Great pictures! I love the slow motion pictures and the perspective that they give.
Great work. I enjoyed looking at these. Thanks for posting.
beautiful,
but it should be titled high speed "liquid" photography, seeing as there's milk and wine in there ^_^
your page is on stumble upon :) nice post too :)
Awesome photos..the same is about HDR and slow motion photos..
I like the third picture with the apple most. It is so vivid in its colors and has such a perfect composition. Wow!
