One of our talented readers, Paul A, sent me an email recently to let me know he had developed a Designflavr Netvibes widget. This is not just the ordinary RSS feeder. It shows the latest submissions from Designflavr as thumbails and allows you to browse through them. How fantastic is that! You can get the widget here at Netvibes.

The widget is built on the Netvibes Ecosystem platform. This means it can be added straight into iGoogle, Apple Dashboard and Vista Sidebar if you don't use Netvibes. Thanks Paul!

Psdtuts has a brilliant new tutorial that is fairly basic yet has a stunning output. It uses fairly basic tools layering effects in photoshop. Whilst the procedure is straight forward they do warn that the final output will retain over 60 active text layers, which will require a heavy use of your computer's memory.

We have released a new version of the custom system that runs Designflavr. This update includes various Bug fixes, layout changes and content duplication issues.

Some notable updates include a new Logo for Designflavr. This has been well overdue and I am very happy with the final outcome.

You can also now browse the entire website with the images in full view (no thumbnails). This is available on all pages except when searching. This feature was previously limited to the home page.

The homepage now by default has the first image displayed in full view. This will hopefully make the entrance to the site more appealing and viewer friendly. Allowing visitors to quickly see what has been updated.
